At 43, I'm beginning to believe that one can be born a 'painter' and understand my visions of the world, my obsessions, my motivations, my relentlessness, my vital need to always: to paint.
A civil servant by default for years, my time freed up to paint, it took me 15 years to consider my work "exhibitable", out of respect for myself, for the way people look at me, for painting.
First fascinated by watercolor, I worked hard for years to develop this technique to see today that watercolor is finally recognized as a major art and no longer limited to sketches, transparent washes, figurative landscapes. With a mastered technique, a free gesture; water, pigments, light, everything on paper becomes textures, materials, something that has weight. The feeling, the impression is unique because it comes from water.
I also work with acrylic, a "DIY" technique for me, experimental, innovative contrast games.
My painting is often called lyrical (emotion in enthusiasm, passion, exaltation, spontaneity, energy readable by free gestures).
For me everything must be felt.
A great utopian, I have been a professional since 2007 and I wanted to democratize my work by opening a Workshop Gallery "of pigment in life" 9 avenue de la mer 14150 Ouistreham
