Branimir Antonov was born in Varna, Bulgaria in 1953. He graduated in 1974 from the Institute of Industrial Design and Applied Arts in Sofia and in 1985 earned a degree in Graphic Art from the Academy of Fine Arts in V. Tarnovo. Since graduating he has worked as a graphic designer for the Bulgarian tourist agency " Balkanturist " - Varna, as well as participating in several exhibits, both personal and collective with the young group of the Painter's Union in Varna and Sofia. Since 1994 he has been teaching art and painting and has won several prizes for his participations. Numerous works of his are to be found in diferent foudations and private galleries. B. Antonov opened his own gallery in 2003 in which painters and sculptors of different generations have found space for their activities and creations.
