Ganbold Dorjderem, known as Bono, was born in 1982 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. He earned a degree from the School of Fine Arts at the University of Arts and Culture of Mongolia. As the grandson of the renowned Mongolian artist Minjuur Ch., Ganbold has a rich artistic heritage that has influenced his creative journey.
From a young age, Ganbold exhibited a passion for drawing and sculpting. His keen sense of color allows him to capture vivid snapshots of life in Mongolia, showcasing his distinctive artistic vision. Currently, he serves as a professor at the Children Design Centre in Ulaanbaatar, where he imparts his values of modernism and a touch of realism through his paintings.
Ganbold Dorjderem's work reflects a deep connection to his cultural roots while embracing contemporary artistic expressions. His dedication to nurturing young talent and his unique perspective on Mongolian life make him a significant figure in the Mongolian art scene.
