I Fábio S. Rodrigues (artistic name-Fabio D `Airam), I am 29 years old, was born on December 16, 1978 in a city in the interior of SP called San Roque, and live in Vargem Gde Pta (great SP). I am a human being who tends to be strong with my words and my art.
I am a painter, musician Autodidata, and student of Eastern philosophy. My first contact with art was through the design and music. At the time was studying the customs of Brazilian Indians, and I am interested in percussion and battery. What are the instruments that play. I had classes with some masters, but decided to follow my own heart for incompatibility with academic orientation, what would happen with the oil painting.
I started drawing very early (the influences of my uncle) and I am very pleased by the fact that the design has reached an absolute independence in regard to artistic genêros. I believe the role of art contains the truth, or a good part of it. And it was by design, music and philosophy, which in 2004 started my studies of the oil painting.
Once the first touch, I felt that the painting had a purpose: "transport the observer w / outside the daily experience, w / much further in the direction of mind apart."
Admire virtually all periods of Art History, particularly the Paleolithic with his paintings Rupestres, through the pyramids, sculpture, architecture and ceramics; Art Pre-Colombiana (Olmec, Astecas, Incas ...); Romanticism (with the master Turner, Constable ); Expressionism (Matisse, Braque and Picasso); abstract art (poetry-Kandinsky, Manabu Mabe and Geometric-Mondrian, Samson Flexor). The Indigenous Art has a huge value w / me (pottery, weaving, masks, feathers, their rituals ). About Contemporary Art, I see great artists, and I see little.
For me it is of extreme importance be eclectic (w / the creative process), have their heads open (w / power to hear, see and feel-not necessarily in that order), have a broader view on the cultural process, since the knowledge of art is an important source of reference w / the understanding of the historical process and of itself-even.
Currently working with objects inusitados come into my music and painting.
