Using the letters of my maiden name, I can write "Artiste Peintre".

My passion for painting started in 1999 when I have been offered a watercolor set. I first tried to paint japanese gardens in a very conventional style. Then I studied oil painting with my elder brother who is painting as an amateur since 30 years +.

Then my encounter with Henri Yedid gave a turn to my art. His style and art facinated me and he transformed my perception of artistic expression. He passed away in 2002 but he will be my forever mentor.

Henry encouraged me to taste the pleasure of self-expression and self-creation. Since then, my passion for painting never stopped growing and I keep discovering myself through it. My painting is a reflection of my soul and of my emotions ; it speaks of my inner world, beyond my daily reality, where I connect with my true essence.

I paint through inspiration and inner visions, often in an altered state of consciousness. When I start, even if I have an overall vista of what I want to do, I never know where I will go with it and what the result will be. This is why I can't do commission paintings except if I am asked to paint what I feel for a person... In that case, the result is pure inspiration, unique, and a sort of message coming from somewhere that I channel for the person. Then it's hers to discover it.

I am really deeply grateful for all the people on my way who encouraged me to develop my talent.
