Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. Autodidacte, Bénédicte Becquart, a passé son enfance un pinceau à la main. Puis la vie professionnelle et familiale l'ont éloignée pendant de nombreuses années de la peinture. Dans les années 95, lors d'un voyage en Espagne, Bénédicte Becquart, qui vit à l'époque dans la région lilloise, ressent une émotion forte face aux couleurs : la terre orangée, le bleu pur et profond du ciel, le vert cendré et argenté des oliviers. Alors s'impose un besoin irrépressible de peindre.
De retour dans le Nord de la France, elle reprend sa vie professionnelle. Mais ses temps libres sont pour la peinture.
Installée depuis 2004 dans le Sud de la France, elle s'adonne désormais totalement à sa passion.
Avec les années, sa peinture évolue de la peinture figurative vers une expression plus libérée et un peu plus abstraite, même si l'on y retrouve le plus souvent une représentation.
La nature et les personnages sont les thèmes favoris abordés par Bénédicte Becquart et cela avec douceur, sensibilité et féminité dans une belle harmonie de couleur. Il émane de ses tableaux la joie de vivre et la sérénité.
Les matières utilisés par Bénédicte Becquart se diversifient et s'enrichissent au fil du temps. Acrylique, huile, pigments, encre de chine, collage participent soit séparément soit ensemble à la grande aventure de la toile blanche !
