Benedict Doug

Benedict Douglas-Scott is an artist currently living and working  in London. 

He draws inspiration from a plethora of artistic and design styles which he brings into his work especially Gothic, Baroque and Modernist elements. 

His work mainly focuses on bringing together disparate elements into a unique and novel whole through the media of collage and found objects. His more recent work explores , through gothic imagery, a sense of decay and longing for a distant past.

 When he is not working on his art, Benedict works as a teacher of physics at secondary level full time. He has a passion for food, enjoys tennis and watching TV series with his wife, Temi
