Benoit Vignot, a contemporary French painter, discovered his passion for art at a young age, initially nurtured at the Étampes school under the guidance of Philippe Lejeune. His artistic journey began in high school, where he focused on Plastic Arts and delved into painting competitions, attending evening classes under the tutelage of Pascal Garin. The early stages of his career saw him participating in inaugural exhibitions alongside fellow emerging artists in the Paris region.
After a brief stint in the preparatory year at the Met school in Penninghen, Benoit dedicated five years to the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et Métiers d'Art on rue Olivier de Serres in Paris. Here, he earned two diplomas in product design, namely the BTS Industrial Creation and DSAA Creative Designer.
Fascinated by the burgeoning world of new technologies, Benoit specialized in creating 3D computer-generated images. His journey led him to become a computer graphic designer at the Paris Military School during his national service, and he concurrently worked as a graphic designer for magazines such as Moto Revue and L'Intégral, published by LARIVIERE.
Benoit's trajectory took a scenic turn as he relocated to the picturesque Côte d'Azur, settling on the heights of Grasse. Joining the esteemed AESTHETE agency, he embarked on diverse projects in perfumery and watchmaking, collaborating with major luxury brands under the guidance of Thierry De Baschmakoff.
Nestled in the mountains, Benoit became an independent designer in 2011, crafting a variety of graphic creations for different clients. However, it was in 2021 that he decided to reignite his passion for painting, marking a significant chapter in his artistic journey.
Beyond the canvas, Benoit is an avid mountain enthusiast, exploring the Alps as a dedicated mountaineer and climber. Whether in the valleys of Mercantour, scaling the walls of Verdon, or finding solace in the Calanques, he carries his sketchbook during hikes, capturing the essence of his surroundings.
Benoit Vignot's return to painting in 2021 symbolizes a convergence of his diverse experiences, blending his graphic design expertise with a newfound commitment to the world of fine art.
