Bekir İslam, hailing from Turkey, embarked on his artistic journey at a tender age, cultivating a passion for painting that would shape his life's path. In his formative years, his creative pursuit honed in on the intricate art of pencil-drawn portraiture, a fascination that took root during his high school days.

Post-graduation, Bekir İslam's artistic aspirations led him to delve into the realm of pencil portrait artistry, where he chiseled his skills and carved a niche for himself. Beyond portraiture, he delved into the realm of oil landscape painting, honing his craft in this expressive medium. However, his artistic evolution didn't stop there. Alongside the accomplished muralist Leon Barniya, who was nurtured under the tutelage of the grandmaster muralist and architect Semih İrteş, Bekir delved into the realm of mural artistry, infusing his works with the age-old tradition of embroidery.

Simultaneously, Bekir's talents expanded to encompass the design of carpet motifs, a venture he undertook as a freelance artist catering to carpet manufacturing companies. This versatile approach to artistry showcased his ability to adapt his skills to diverse creative platforms.

Presently, Bekir İslam finds himself nestled in his own workshop in the vibrant city of Istanbul. As he crafts his art in this bustling creative haven, he simultaneously treads the path of academia, working toward the attainment of a master's degree in philosophy. This dynamic blend of artistic creation and intellectual exploration epitomizes Bekir's multidimensional approach to life and learning.
