Beata Kmita was born in Poland in 1974, she was attracted by the landscapes and colors due to the constant contact she had with the nature on her recreational trips. Throughout her life she has been drawn by the ocean, the sun, the beach and languages, which she decided to study while traveling.

She graduated in Organizational Psychology; she enjoys helping people to believe in themselves and in their great potential by discovering their talents

Beata is self-taught, she creates abstract compositions in a gestural and intuitive style. Her process is more spontaneous than controlled. Expressionism and impressionism are the styles that most attract her for the composition of her works. She works with a variety of techniques including acrylic, oil, ink, spray, charcoal, gold leaf, pencil, pastel, oil pastel, earth, sand, and other texturizers. She creates her art in the silence of her soul or listening to classical music, which is what motivates her both her choice of colors and her brushstrokes.

After having lived in different countries, she arrives in Mexico and at the age of 33 years old is when she had an Awakening of Conscience which also drove her to explore “The dark night of the soul”. Thirteen years later, her creativity come out and she decide to share her life experiences through the visual art.

The unique landscapes of the Mexican Caribbean with its bright, fluorescent and vibrant colors of the sea and jungle, the culture, the kind and friendly people, as well as the incomparable climate, have a remarkable influence on her creative process. Beata was inspired by artists like Joan Mitchell, Kazuo Shiraga, Jackson Pollock, Willem De Kooning and Claude Monet among others. Her works invite the public to connect with themselves, explore their inner world, and raise the level of consciousness.
