Beata Bieniak is a digital photographer whose work transports viewers to a fantasy world through an evocative juxtaposition of whimsical yet poignant beauty that ignites the imagination in a blaze of the unexpected. She primarily works in black and white.
Her supernatural montages, the fruits of her imaginative visions, liberate and nurture her by allowing her imagination to run wild. Her gentle, humanist images are visionary personal observations of our slightly surreal world.
Beata Bieniak was born in 1966 in Poddbice, Poland, where she currently lives and works. After completing her training as a professional physiotherapist, she developed an interest in photography and photomontage in the early 2010s. Her creativity, which is entirely self-taught, is divided between photomontage and traditional digital or silver photography.
