Als Künstlerin hat mich schon immer die Herausforderung angezogen, das Wesentliche eines Themas so prägnant wie möglich zu erfassen. Meine Bilder sind sehr persönlich, sie fangen meinen Alltag ein, meine Reaktion auf Dinge, die ich erlebt hat, entweder gestern, in meiner Kindheit oder sogar auf Ereignisse, die ich mich vorstelle. Die Katzenbilder greifen meine eigene Sehnsucht nach einem eigenen Tier als Kind auf.
