Decreasing numbers of birds are not only encountered in the Czech Republic, but also worldwide. One of the main factors threatening bird lives is insensitive, intensive agriculture. Artificial fertilizers on the surface of the soil look like food…

Another significant danger are glass buildings and anything that reflects the surrounding landscape. This becomes a deadly trap for birds. Millions of birds of all kinds die annually after colliding with these glass surfaces. For many birds, contact with high voltage power lines also proves fatal. And last but not least, it is necessary to mention the 70% decline in insects, crucial for many bird species, especially during the nesting period.

Since 1980, 600 million nesting birds have disappeared from the European Union. In nearly 40 years, every sixth bird has vanished. This report clearly and loudly shows that nature is sounding the alarm. Although the protection of rare and endangered birds has led to successful recovery of some species populations, it does not seem to be enough to maintain populations of common species. It is necessary to realize that common birds may not be common forever unless each of us takes conservation measures.

Did you know that a single pair of Tit can consume up to a thousand insects species per day? By feeding birds at least throughout the winter, from spring to autumn, you will maintain a healthy environment.

Bára je podivně pohledné stvoření. Jejími nejbližšími přáteli jsou příroda a vesmír. V našem světě vlastně nikdy nežila. Ona má jeho vlastní. Tato skutečnost se vepsala do celé její dosavadní tvorby. Je protkán spoustou symbolů, poselství a významů, které zůstávají většině skryty. Její tvorba může působit poněkud temně, ale opak je pravdou. Vždy se v něm skrývá něco pozitivního.

Bára nejraději maluje na plátno. Její tvorba často není jen o barvách. Je to plastický výtvor, kterého se chcete dotknout. Předměty, které byste na plátně možná nečekali, se stávají součástí jejich obrazů. To ji odlišuje od ostatních a zaručuje originalitu její práce.
