le cube Orange (2022) Photography by Baptiste Gamby
"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Baptiste Gamby is a photographer whose passion began as a teenager, when he went on vacation with disposable cameras. This is how his first steps in photography were taken. Eager to explore this art further, he quickly invested in his first digital camera, even though it only had 2 megapixels at the time.
It was around the age of 18, by pure chance, that he really discovered photography in a nightclub. From then on, photography became a way for him to get to know himself. She soothes him, allows him to escape and share his vision of the world with others.
Parallel to his work as an electrician, Baptiste Gamby practices photography. He also embarked on the field of graphic design with experiences at PIXEL PROJECT in St Egrève and at the ATELIER DU GRAPHISTE in Voiron. He is also doing an internship at CARTUS PHOTO, a portrait photographer in St Laurent Du Pont. These experiences lead him to make the decision to make his passion his job, a real career change that represents a risky bet for him.
Arrived in Lyon, where he continued his studies, Baptiste Gamby experienced great changes, moving from a life in the countryside to life in the city. The beginnings were not easy, but his passion for photography finally allowed him to flourish. His professional experiences at Studio Erick Saillet, a pioneer in architectural photography in Lyon and France, as well as at ATELIER PHOTOGRAPHIQUE 38 in Grenoble, reinforced his determination.
After hours of reviewing, shooting and discovering the history of art, Baptiste Gamby finally obtained his photographer's diploma at the SEPR in Lyon in 2016. He is delighted to have made one of his dreams and to have managed to overcome this difficult period linked to a change of life.
Today, Baptiste considers himself an artist photographer specializing in the fields of architecture and nature. Passionate about nature, he draws from it a source of inspiration to feed his creativity. Natural wonders, sometimes hidden and mysterious, sometimes exposed and bewitching, inspire him and allow him to multiply artistic projects, thus giving depth to his work.
