Aupalt, an autodidact painter based in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region for several years, moves towards a figurative style ; its spirit is inspired by the French naturalist movement of the 19th century. 

Capturing a “finesse of execution”, a “power of colors” but also a “vigorous touch of execution” allows him to understand certain keys to Realism. Mathematics is the cement of his work, of his own compositions... His main medium is oil on canvas or wood supports, but he occasionally practices lithography. 

However, he graduated in Applied Arts and worked for a time in the advertising and editorial worlds. His painter knowledge was revealed to the public from 2011 and he kept, as a continuing education, the practice of copying after the old Master's paintings (as did Courbet, Degas and many others). 

Since 2010, Aupalt has produced many creations and copies for cultural events and for decorating private or public interiors. His work can be found in various collections in France, England, USA, Europe, Switzerland, Vatican, Asia, South America and Australia since 2011. He has mainly exhibited in Paris and in a few cities in France.

Registered on Artmajeur since the December 10th 2023, he proposes to you some pieces from his professional stock. Past commissioned work will therefore not be represented there.. He doesn't currently intend his pictures for reproduction, nor for digital license (except upon motivation or relevant request about his creative works ; no exception for his copying exercises).
