Astian Rey is a contemporary Ukrainian sculptor. Rey refers to his personal aesthetic as "Sacred Minimalism", and the plot component of most of his works is developed after extensive study of mysticism and philosophy. The artist examines the elements that make up a modern person's worldview as well as potential paths for the civilization's advancement.

Astian Rey was born in 1987 in Kiev, Ukraine, where he graduated from the University Borys Grinchenko, Faculty of Fine Arts. He exhibited his works in Ukraine, Egypt, Poland, Mexico, Spain and in the USA. In 2017, he took first place in the world's first BlockChain Art-Hackathon.
