Born in 1987 in Eskişehir, Participated in  the Accademia di Bella Arti Di Palermo school in Palermo, Italy in 2011. He graduated from Anadolu University Fine Arts Sculpture Department in 2012 as an honor student. In 2013, Küçük Kumla Tankut Öktem worked as a museum supervisor at the museum house. Later on, he continued to work as an assistant to Sculptor Ertuğ Atlı. During this time, he worked on the Nilüfer Atatürk Monument and Nilüfer Poetry Tower projects for the Bursa Nilüfer municipality. The artist, who entered the Master's Program at Anadolu University Fine Arts Institute in 2017, graduated in 2021 with his thesis named "Symbolic expression forms in ancient Egyptian sculpture art". During this period, a joint project with Eskişehir Tepebaşı Municipality
He worked as a team leader in art projects under the name of Artcolony.
With his figurative works, he tries to reflect the emotional changes that people experience in their inner world, to the human body, by determining a transcendent moment to describe these emotions in their figures, and concentrates on conveying them to the audience with a symbolic narrative.
The artist continues to produce mainly metal sculptures in his workshop in Eskişehir.
