INTERNATIONAL ART FOR PEACE FESTIVAL

“Art for Peace” is an annual non-competitive, independent international festival, and founded in Iran since 2013. The International Art for Peace Festival (IAPF) was established with aims to apply the strength of art to detect and empower the cultural potentials for peace and tolerance as well as promoting the status of peace culture and art. IAPF displays various works of art including photography, painting, sculpture, installation, video art, performance art, graphic posters, short films and music. Since the Art for Peace Festival was established with the aim of spreading the culture of peace and tolerance, it tries to use the language of art to draw the world's attention to issues such as global warming and climate change, the pervasive wave of immigration to developed countries, regional conflicts and Internationally, the war in Ukraine and the rising tension in the Middle East that affect the world. According to the organizers of this cultural event, these issues can jeopardize the process of establishing peace and sustainable development in the world.
