I AM CAS.
I was born in SÃO PAULO, and since I was little, I've always liked to scribble, but I discovered drawing in 1998, taking any photo and reproducing it in pencil on paper.
I portrayed several people in Santa Catarina, BRAZIL, where I lived, and then, in 1999, I held a small exhibition.
I started painting in oils, and discovered a new world that I didn't know. It took me a while to develop my own style, but over the years I've improved my style. I believe that today my paintings reveal what I'm trying to express.
I've never taken a painting course. I've learned everything I do on my own. This is my life, and I don't intend to stop.
. It doesn't really matter if I sell the works or not, what matters is what I try to express in my work. I think that when we do something just to sell, we lose the true essence of art. I never took a painting course. Everything I learned, I learned on my own and I don't intend to stop.
