Full time longfunctieanalist in een Rotterdams ziekenhuis met een jarenlange uitlaatklep voor mijn creatieve geest in het maken van kunstwerken.

Als kind maakte ik al graag foto's wat in stapels foto's resulteerde. Een baan waarbij ik websites mocht bouwen hielp mij aan mijn basis vaardigheden met Photoshop, dit kwam van pas toen ik begon aan modelfotografie en ik mij de kunst van het retoucheren moest aanleren. Nadat ik langzaamaan uitgekeken raakte op modelfotografie besloot ik mijn creativiteit meer ruimte te geven door de modelfotografie met fotobewerking te combineren in fotomanipulaties en montages waardoor plotseling the sky the limit werd. Ik begon steeds meer (digitale) technieken te gebruiken waardoor de fotomontages al snel overgingen in digitale kunst.

Ik vermoed dat deze "analoge" onderdelen een groter deel van mijn toekomstige werk zullen gaan innemen. Voor mijn cryptokunst maakte ik al een collage van geprinte afbeeldingen die ik met behulp van ai had gemaakt resulterend in een analoog AI kunstwerk. Het verkennen van nieuwe technieken en mogelijkheden laten mij telkens nieuwe uitdagingen toe en geeft mijn werk een zeer breed spectrum van technieken en onderwerpen.

Wel komen hoge contrasten veel in mijn werk voor zowel wat belichting, kleur en onderwerpen betreft, en gebruik ik graag diepte en lagen zowel letterlijk als figuurlijk en de kleur rood heeft in mijn werk meestal ergens een hoofdrol.

Naast dat ik soms gewoon iets moois wil maken probeer ik meestal een verhaal of boodschap in mijn kunst te verwerken die ik meestal niet met de wereld deel. Het is immers veel leuker wanneer een kijker zelf een verhaal kan ontdekken?!
Naarmate ik ouder wordt merk ik dat ik ook telkens vaker ideologische kunst wil maken in een poging de wereld misschien iets te verbeteren.
Tevens gebruik ik mijn kunstwerken om geld op te halen voor een aantal goede doelen zoals het Longfonds in Nederland.
