Hi!
My name is Antonina, and I am grateful to you for your interest)
From the age of 12 I studied at the Art Gymnasium, then from 2003 to 2008 I studied at the Art University of St. Petersburg.
For a long time I was fond of graphic direction and book graphics, linocut.
At some point, I remembered about the oil on canvas and about two years from 2015 to 2017, I painted only one work with four mermaids under water measuring 1,2 x1,2 meters. I was rewriting characters times for time, trying to find characters mermaids and forms, but as then it turned out perhaps I was looking most important - myself)).
By coincidence the Mermaids did not finish (photos below) Thanks to this work, I found the road on which I move now in Art.
Then we traveled and moved, I began to paint flowers-experimenting with their shape, position in space and color.
Forms of flowers, leaves, stems their life and movement in space allowed move me to landscapes. In landscapes I plunged into rhythms and perspective, directional light, shadows and textures.
Dance of forms, textures, colors and the birth of emotions…
I am inspired by I. Repin, V. Vasnetsov, N.Feshin, C. Monet, A. Benua, and of course my favorite inspirations - my Son and Husband)
