painting is between figuration and abstraction, my characters, landscapes or seascapes are the reflection of my emotions, I like to paint the memory that I have of things, people, landscapes, light, at a precise moment. I create mainly with acrylic on canvas, using knives, brushes, sponges and fabrics, from my sketches or my photos. I work with acrylic because this medium allows me to express myself in complete freedom and without the constraint of long drying times. Drawing and painting is vital for me, I have always had to reinvent what I see, add my little touch to it, the "something" that does not exist and that is in me.. .my painting is very spontaneous, gestural, I like to create prints with balls of wool, plastic, paper and I like movement, a lot, passionately, it is impossible for me to represent a frozen landscape, a calm sea, it it has to move.
For me what matters is to express what I feel, what I have inside, my feelings, the only thing that matters is to restore my inner world.
What counts are my sensations, what I feel, what I see, without worrying about fashions, tastes: first my look at things and then when the painting is finished, it belongs to the look of the other . I am happy in my workshop, my playground and I, as I like to define it,
it is between the trees that I love to paint, in a very small village in Occitania.
I took fine arts classes as a free auditor and attended workshops for internships for a long time, where I was able to improve my technical skills.
before exhibiting.
