Of course you are unlikely to meet this beetle in nature 😉, in truth you are unlikely to meet a real deer beetle in our nature. And although it is listed in the Red Book of Ukraine 📖, the population of these beauties is extremely small and continues to decline, because there are fewer and fewer respectable perennial trees that are their natural environment.
Therefore, once again, I want to draw attention to how we are constantly losing our wealth - our nature.
And you know, I'm pretty sure if you show modern kids a picture of this beetle and ask if it looks like a deer beetle, most will say yes! Because most of them do not know what this beetle really looks like, as well as adults, by the way. 🤷

I know that I always have something to tell people, and with the help of my art, I create my own picture of the world.
