Angélique Louail - Self-taught painter.
My name is Angélique Louail, originally from the Tourangelle region.
Installed since 2011 in Saint Cyr Sur Loire, where my small studio is located, I create original abstract paintings, with intense colors. My paintings are intuitive, with fluid movement. Sometimes I use knives in addition to brushes, which allows me to create reliefs and original material effects. The traces of tubes, and the instinctive gestures characterize most of my works, and reflect my personality well.
The abstract is for me a means of escape, a permanent search for freedom, expression and sharing.
I discovered abstract painting in 2013 which quickly became a passion, and in 2015 I became a professional painter.
