Anatoly Niart, his artist name (Medvedev) was born in 1990 in Kuibyshev in Russia. Anatoly is now based in Samara (Russia).

He became interested in shooting subjects in 2017, following a difficult period in his life.

The basis of the artist's style is based on the "Black Background" resulting from an Influence of Caravagism. The subjects of the shots are often made by themselves, it can be clay or modeling clay, for example. He photographs refined compositions with this particularity of the black background.

Anatoly NIART joined our collective of photographer artists in March 2024. With him, we selected a series of works that we called “Pénombre”. The 24 photographs presented here are a sample of the artist's prolific production.
