Née en 1970, je suis de formation littéraire et ai publié des livres pour enfants en tant qu'auteure et auteure/illustratrice chez La Pimpante.  Avec le temps le dessin est devenu sans doute plus important pour moi que les mots car il me permet d'exprimer en seulement quelques traits ce que je ressens. C'est pourquoi je me classe parmi les expressionnistes car  l'expression est, je pense, l'essence-même de mes dessins. Bien que peints à l'aquarelle j'ai tendance à les nommer dessins car le trait prédomine sur la touche de peinture. Ils sont spontanés, tracés en très peu de temps et je ne sais pas moi-même vraiment ce qu'il va naître sous ma main. Je fais des choix bien sûr mais ne contrôle pas tout,  c'est ce qu'il me plaît aussi dans l'utilisation de l'aquarelle, dont je ne maîtrise pas toutes les coulures.
