(Amour) Artak Muradyan is a painter, graphic artist, sculptor, a regular participant in international exhibitions and auctions. The works are in many public and private Russian and foreign collections. "My creativity is based on two pillars: Armenian temperamental, juicy, flowery painting and the Russian school of drawing, with strict academic traditions. I am trying to combine the yellow gold of the south with the white gold of the north, I hope that this alloy will be precious and will outlive me."
Artak Muradyan (Amur) was born in 1970, in Yerevan, Armenia. 1977 – the first plaster sculpture. 1986 – entered the P. Terlemezyan State Art College (Sculpture Department). 1990 - graduated with honors. 1990 – entered the Yerevan Theater and Art Academy at the Faculty of Sculpture. 1993 – continues his studies at the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the Russian Academy of Arts (St. Petersburg). 2007 - moves to Moscow.
Artak Muradyan (Amur) has been actively participating in exhibitions for more than 35 years. Since 1985, 124 solo and more than 300 group exhibitions have been held. Cupid's works are in various art collections, on almost all continents except Antarctica. There are more than 3,000 works in private collections. In Moscow, for many years, the artist's paintings were exhibited in the Central House of Artists and the Manege. The artist's work is represented in galleries in the USA, Sedona (Arizona), Las Vegas (Nevada), San Diego (California), Laguna Beach (California). Amur is a participant of International exhibitions, Art Expo (New York), exhibitions in the conference hall of the US Congress (Washington), exhibitions in Hong Kong.
In 2012, an exhibition of Cupid was held at the Pierre Cardin Art Center (Paris) and an exhibition in Versailles. The artist's works were presented at the international exhibition in the Louvre (Paris) in 2012. The artist is a participant in the exhibition Art of Russia in Benelux (Netherlands-Wurden) in 2020, the exhibition Art under the stars From the ancient to the modern 2021-2022. (Dubai).
