Amarsaikhan Namsraijav is a contemporary Mongolian artist, born in 1981 in Sukhbaatar province, Mongolia. He graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from Setgemj Design University in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in 2000, and later from the Institute of Fine Art in Ulaanbaatar in 2005. Since 2006, he has been a board member artist of the “New Century Art” association.
In 2009, Amarsaikhan initiated his ‘Nomadic’ project, which aims to spread the heritage and culture of Mongolian nomads both domestically and internationally. His project is expressed through various mediums, including oil paintings, installations, and land art.
Much of Amarsaikhan's work takes place in nature, utilizing natural elements to address themes of environmental protection. Through the lens of nomadic culture and lifestyle, he advocates for living in harmony with nature and promotes environmentally friendly living for the future.
Amarsaikhan has participated in numerous international art residencies, biennales, art symposiums, triennales, and other art projects, showcasing his dedication to spreading the cultural and environmental messages of his work on a global stage.
