Alix Warnant est née en Belgique. A partir de 2008 elle prend des cours de sculpture. Elle s’oriente ensuite vers le tournage. Elle a pu au fil du temps allier ces deux passions pour développer des créations plus personnelles. Chaque pièce, même si elle semble faire partie d'une série, est unique. Chaque objet renvoie une intonation particulière.
Vers 2014, elle participe à plusieurs ateliers de peinture en Belgique et en France et développe sa technique, principalement au couteau.
En ce qui concerne sa peinture, ce qui lui importe, c'est la spontanéité, le relief, la superposition de matière, et la lumière. Elle travaille en général sur des petits formats car ce support témoigne mieux de l'impulsivité de son travail. Le geste mécanique et rapide est un élément constitutif témoignant de cette spontanéité. C'est ensuite l'agencement en série, modulable, accaparant l'espace, qui donnera l'impression d'une seule et même toile.
Elle a participé à divers parcours artistiques et expositions en Belgique et en France.
