Alina Poloboc is a contemporary artist born in Bender, Transnistria, an independent country within Moldova, in 1991. Alina has become a global citizen, dividing her time between Miami, Florida, and Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Initially earning a degree in International Relations and Political Science, she worked as a television presenter for three stations in Moldova. However, during a two-year stay in Bolzano, Italy, she discovered her true passion for painting. A holiday in Palma de Mallorca captivated her with the island's unique light, inspiring her to begin painting. She attended painting courses for two years, transforming her intense passion into a professional career.

Alina's work is distinguished by two distinct styles. Her figurative paintings depict real-life ballerinas with elegance, delicacy, and sensitivity, creating the effect of a live ballet performance on canvas. In contrast, her abstract paintings, dominated by the color blue, reflect her obsession with this hue, representing the sky and sea of Mallorca through ink and natural pigments.

Her exhibitions are numerous and impressive. In 2017, she showcased her work in a collective exhibition at "El Mercado de arte y artesanía" and an individual exhibition titled "C'est la vie" at the El Chiringuito Beach House in Palma de Mallorca. In 2018, her work featured in several exhibitions, including the "Immigration and Integration Conference: Woman, Art and Culture" at Centro Cultural S'Escorxador and "L'univers és el cor" at Fundación Sa Nostra Caixa de Balears.

Alina's art has also been showcased at live painting events, such as the fashion event at Katagi Blau, Hotel Llaut Palace in 2018. She held two individual exhibitions that year: "LOVE LIVES IN EVERYTHING" at Espai Joves de Llevant and another at Hotel Es Princep in Palma de Mallorca. Her most recent exhibitions include the HMH Art Gallery in Puerto Andratx, Palma de Mallorca, in 2020, and the prestigious Art Basel Miami in December 2022, where her work was part of the "Another Me- Fancy Collection" exhibition, demonstrating the breadth of her skill and talent.
