Biography
Alina Chalaya, an artist from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, draws her inspiration from the wonders of nature and the legacy of artists like Mikhail Vrubel. Through bold oil strokes, her paintings capture the essence of our world's beauty. Exhibiting regularly, she strives to convey messages of environmental preservation, with each piece evoking a range of emotions and appealing to both art lovers and collectors, inviting them to bring a piece of nature's splendor into their lives.
Chalaya's works are held in collections in Germany, Switzerland, Cyprus, and the USA. Currently, she is working on a series of oil abstract landscapes inspired by the places she explored during expeditions, including the Swiss Alps, the shores of the Indian Ocean, rivers, and volcanoes in Kamchatka. In her work, she finds it crucial to strike a balance between emotional expression and figurative, recognizable images, leaving the viewer in search of the key to unravel the mysteries, darkness, and light of our era.

Alina Chalaya`s artwork "Genesis" took 2nd place in the exhibition-competition TALENT-EXPO in category "Abstract painting". Nominees`s art works were exhibited 31 July - 7 August 2022 at State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow, Russia.
There were more then 500 artworks all over the world from professional and amateur artists.
