Alexandre Canova is a contemporary French artist. He embarked on his artistic journey in 2012 at ÉSAD Pyrénées in Pau, furthering his studies at ISBA in Besançon, where he completed his education in 2018. Seeking to expand his artistic horizons, he spent a year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, immersing himself in a new artistic landscape to cultivate a fresh perspective on art.
In 2021, Alexandre made the bold decision to venture forth as an independent artist, driven by a quest for boundless expression and a commitment to unfettered creativity. His artistic exploration revolves around the perpetual experimentation of the unknown, crafting a personal universe that knows no bounds.
At the core of Alexandre's artistic vision are recurring themes such as the "idol" and the concept of "adventure." He constructs a mirror world that challenges conventional perceptions, constantly flipping reality on its head. Alexandre's aim is to engage the spectator as a traveler, inviting them to navigate through his immersive universe, deciphering its enigmatic symbols and landmarks.
