Alexandra Daoust is a professional photographer who also practices digital art. She particularly uses the technique of double exposure, whether during shooting or post-processing.
Inspired by architecture, nature, landscapes, sometimes humans and above all guided by colors. She likes to experiment with mixing genres by mixing painting and photography in order to recreate an imaginary, dreamlike, colorful, graphic world. She also loves working with unusual materials that have been diverted from their primary functions. For example: a survival blanket.
Alexandra Daoust was born in 1982. She lives and works in Brussels (Belgium). After beginning studies in social and educational sciences, she discovered photography. She therefore undertook studies in this field and graduated in 2003.
