"Menstruation" is an original artistic work that expressively and suggestively depicts female intimacy and the beauty of nature. The inspiration for the painting was the work "Beauty of the Day" by Luis Buñuel and the process of menstruation, which is a natural cycle of the female body.
The works "Beauty of the Day" and "Menstruation" touch on the issue of human existence, including female identity and the body. "Beauty of the Day" shows a woman at different moments of the day, in different situations, which may symbolize the volatility and multifacetedness of female nature. Similarly, in the case of the painting "Menstruation", the artist focuses on the subject of the menstrual cycle, which is an inseparable element of the female body and affects its condition and emotions.
In the technique of acrylic painting, the artist used intense colors, dominated by red and blue, which emphasizes the emotional and physical tension associated with menstruation. The composition of the painting consists of several layers in which the artist used abstract elements, which allows for various interpretations and readings.
"Menstruation" is a picture with a strong artistic expression that encourages reflection on female identity, as well as on the changing states of the body and emotions related to the process of menstruation. This is a work that will attract the attention of art lovers and people interested in topics related to the abstract and philosophical view of femininity and the body.

Agnieszka Witkowska is a contemporary Polish artist, painter, sculptor, photographer and architect. She completed her master's degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, and her master's thesis "Poland for Poland" she gained recognition from the nationwide media and was awarded many times. To broaden her artistic horizons, she studied at the Escuela de Arte de Sevilla as part of the Erasmus program. She is also the founder of the author's studio "Creative Lab Agnieszka Witkowska". Witkowska's works combine a passion for architecture, photography and painting, in line with the trends of modern interior design.
For some time now, the artist has been cooperating with psychologists, painting pictures inspired by the experiences of her clients. Her works are intended to help, heal and relax, incorporating themes and symbols from her clients' lives. However, due to respecting the privacy of clients, Witkowska decided not to publish her works publicly, only her clients and selected people have access.
This decision was met with both praise and criticism. Regardless of the controversy, her art has been described as "transformational" and gained recognition from people from all walks of life. Witkowska, through the practice of art therapy, has helped many people heal from trauma, understand themselves better and develop emotional resilience.
Her unique approach to art and art therapy has made her a pioneer in her field. Although her work is not publicly available, its impact will be felt for a long time. Witkowska reminds us that sometimes the most powerful works are kept hidden, known only to those who need them most.
Agnieszka Witkowska is an artist of exceptional talent and sensitivity. Her works are deeply reflective and personal, as well as aesthetically beautiful. Her commitment to helping others, respect for clients' privacy and ability to create strong emotions make her a true inspiration to others. Without a doubt, her work will have a lasting impact on the world of art and therapy.
