Agnieshka Siwek lives and works in Cracow, Poland. Professionally, she is an interior designer. She is also a portrait artist. She designs graphic patterns and illustrations that are printed on clothing, fabrics, posters, canvases, wallpaper, furniture, and many other utilitarian or decorative elements.  

She studied drawing and painting at the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology, as well as at the Cracow School of Art and Design. 

Her favorite medium is charcoal and ink, and her favorite subject is people. She most often creates portraits with this technique. Charcoal is a medium that allows for very different effects.  From soft, light transitions in shading to achieving rough, dark textures. Realism in portraits is mixed with expression. She uses dynamic lines, stains, and textures. Her portraits have a characteristic style.

 She draws inspiration from the paintings of old masters such as John Singer Sargent and Anders Zorn, as well as from contemporary artists.
