An abstract painter, Abraham Mashinsky creates artworks that are classified as Orphism, a less strict form of Cubism. Mashinsky style is dominated by circular geometries and bright colors that seem to vibrate from his paintings.
Mashinsky began his artistic career at an early age. In his early artworks his love for chromaticism can be clearly noticed.
Cubism also intrigued the artist. That is why Mashinsky began to thoroughly investigate the relationships between form and color.
In his early artworks, Mashinsky exalted pure color as form and subject. Later, this painter started to gradually replace the images of nature with colored light forms.
His art series “Square” well suited to his research on the color of simultaneous contrasts.
In the late-2000s, he diversified his work.He started addressing decorative art and participated in many decorative arts exhibitions. Mashinsky got a recognition through whole the country.
Later, Mashinsky returned to abstract rhythm Orphism. He has done series called Circles. The series appears to be the culmination of Mashinsky’s research on thepictorial harmony.
Abraham Mashinsky’s artwork is widely recognized and highlighted in many articles in some of the most prestigious art magazines.
