Biru Zhao
Biru Zhao is a contemporary Chinese painter based in France. Biru Zhao's artistic education began in her native China, where she pursued her studies at the Institute of Design of South Yangtze University from September 1994 to July 1998. During this formative period, she devoted herself to the study of design, culminating in the achievement of a Master's degree.
Following her academic pursuits, Biru Zhao embarked on a career in academia. From 1998 to 2003, she served as a professor at Jinling Keji University in Nanjing, China. In this role, she shared her knowledge and passion for the arts with a new generation of aspiring artists, leaving an indelible mark on the creative landscape of her homeland.
Seeking to broaden her horizons and engage with diverse artistic perspectives, Biru Zhao expanded her academic journey further. From January 2003 to December 2003, she pursued studies at the Higher School of Fine Arts of China in Shanghai, China. This experience allowed her to immerse herself in the rich artistic heritage and contemporary art scene of her home country.
To further deepen her artistic exploration and engage with international perspectives, Biru Zhao embarked on a transformative journey to France. From September 2004 to June 2007, she pursued studies at the Ecole supérieure d'Art et of Design in Amiens, France. During this period, she honed her artistic skills and vision, ultimately earning her DNSEP (Higher National Diploma of Plastic Expression), equivalent to a Bac+5 degree, marking a significant milestone in her artistic education.
In recent years, Biru Zhao's artistic contributions have been recognized in various exhibitions in Paris. Her work, characterized by its contemporary Chinese perspective and enriched by her international experiences, has resonated with audiences, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of contemporary art.
