Domenico Di Caterino (Napoli, 1973) si affaccia sulla scena artistica internazionale dagli anni novanta, muovendosi a Napoli tra l'Accademia di Belle Arti e il Laboratorio Okkupato S.K.A. La sua ricerca artistica mette in discussione i codici di genere dell'arte contemporanea, anche nell'ambito della street art, mediante un’azione performativa che prevede l’abbandono dei suoi lavori in contesti urbani e il tacito invito al pubblico di rimuoverli, distruggerli o prelevarli, innescando casualmente una società per azioni diffusa.
Il suo intervento street artistico Social lockdown a Forio d’Ischia, con il gallerista attivista Salvatore Iacono, è stato il primo in Italia dopo il lockdown.
Attualmente risulta essere l’artista con il numero di diffide legali (da parte di soggetti pubblici e privati) più alto in Italia.
Nell’agosto del 2021 si dichiara con l’introduzione dell’obbligo vaccinale per i docenti pubblici: artista vaccinato politico, le riflessioni che si pone in quel momento diventano un libro editato dalla nootempo books (l’orbita dell’officina creativa nootempo fa capo a Quilo Producer e storico mc dei Sa Razza).
