Xu Ping, a native of Datong, Shanxi Province, with the characters Wolong and Hao Shanqi, is now an executive director of the Chinese Artists Association, a director of the Chinese Painters Association, a contract painter of the Yibao Tang Painting Academy, a senior craft artist, a member of the Chinese Elderly Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, a deputy secretary general of the Datong Artists Association, and a specially invited painter of the Yungang Painting and Calligraphy Academy.

He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Jiangxi Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute, and then studied at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. His works are strong but not overbearing, slender but not weak, colorful but not vulgar, light but not thin, elegant and commonplace.

徐平，山西大同人，字卧龙，好山奇，现为中国艺术家协会常务理事，中国画家协会理事，艺宝堂画院签约画家，高级工艺美术师，中国老年书画研究会会员，大同美术家协会副秘书长，云岗书画院特聘画家。

徐平自幼酷爱绘画，擅画工笔画花鸟，动物；毕业于江西景德镇陶瓷学院美术系，后就读于中央工艺美术学院，曾得到中央工艺美术学院教授祝大年，郑柯的指授。作品用笔劲而不霸，纤而不弱，设色艳而不俗，淡而不薄，雅俗共赏，既有传统笔墨功力，又有探索开拓之意。
