Vas Paris work can be conceptually connected to the art of Romero Britto, Niki de Saint Phalle and Silvio Vigliaturo.
Vas Paris says:
I paint because I can not stop painting. I do not have industrial approach to art. I do like to sell my art but I have a long term goal and do not want to be trapped into a stereotype. I like experimenting and progressing. Things that do not sell I repaint to please myself and learn something new about myself and making art.
I like the freedom of art. My style is evolving because I constantly look for new things.
Recently I started experimenting with the very bright colors of Brazilian carnival. A while ago I also look at Cuban and Caribbean art often to get a charge of colors. My drive is in a deep meaning of mediation and emotional passion. I try to express in simple terms complex issues. I like Latin colors and Latin passion. I like eastern Zen approach to life. So I am trying to fine a combination where I can mix them in to my art.
