Biography
Susana Zarate is a contemporary Spanish artist. Her figurative work, which is inspired by her own experiences and goals, aims to capture the feeling of a certain moment and put it through an investigation of the effects of light on shape. Susana's work is centered on ephemeral photos of women expressing their spiritual and emotional moments in life via beautiful colors and bright reflective light.
Susana Zarate was born in 1959, in Spain. She lives and works in the UK.

Susana Zarate BA (Hons), works with a range of mediums and subjects from figurative, nudes, and animal portraits using oil and watercolours to abstract and semi-abstract landscapes using acrylics and mixed media.
