Hemp acts as a bioremediator, sequestering carbon during cultivation. In the sustainable building industry, it serves as a virtually carbon-neutral, bio-based product that can be used in various applications. Additionally, hemp can be locally produced as a renewable agricultural resource, eliminating the need for multiple agrochemical products. Its cultivation can also play a vital role in reactivating and strengthening rural economies. 

Susan Yin's work is a fusion of Japanese philosophy, Scandinavian design, and a global perspective on embracing imperfection. She combines fine art, design, craft, and sculpture to create unique pieces.
