Biography
Susan Schoemaker is a contemporary Dutch artist. Schoemaker has been sculpting for almost two decades. She paints expansive landscapes and portraits in stunning colors in her studio in Amsterdam, and the deep gazes of her subjects stay with you for a long time. She subtly simplifies the reality around her into paintings that are nearly abstract. Her bronze sculptures offer a sense of strength, peacefulness, and harmony.
