I dream of painting and then I paint my dreams

Since I was a child I wanted to be an artist. It is something wonderful to be able to create and transform matter into a work of art, creating a personal and magical space, through a sensitivity focused on observing and interpreting the world. Painting is my form of communication that allows me to isolate myself from reality in a positive way. Through painting I can express emotions and feelings that are not so easy to communicate otherwise. Painting a picture gives me the opportunity to bring out a large part of my most sensitive interior and show my own vision of the world.

In this way, through my creations I try to convey not only emotions, but also messages, and reflections on our existence, social problems or life in general. At first my painting was realistic: landscapes, still lifes... Little by little I began to explore more modern techniques and styles.

My work is a mixture of styles, ranging from classical to modern. My goal is that the elements of design, color and texture give free rein to the emotion of the viewer. My inspiration can be a scene on the street, a photo I saw or took, an emotion I experienced, a television documentary. Painting portraits is where I try to capture part of the soul and feelings of people.
