Two of my Proteas just came back home from overseas exhibitions.
Two of my Proteas just came back home from overseas exhibitions.
"Protea Sage: Grace in the Storm" been exhibited at Nicoletta Gallery at Berlin, Germany,
and "Dark Flame: The Crimson Protea" travelled all the way from CASA Del ARTE Gallery Palma, Spain.
Here are some nice words from Gallery Curators:
As I reflect on your recent exhibitions, I'm compelled to share just how impactful your work has been in our community.
Your piece, "Protea Sage: Grace in the Storm," beautifully embodies the essence of resilience. The way you capture the delicate beauty of the protea amidst a tumultuous backdrop resonates profoundly with viewers, inviting them to find strength in vulnerability. Attendees were drawn to its vibrant energy, noting how it seemed to speak of hope and grace even in challenging times. The interplay of colors and textures feels alive, grounding the emotional depth in a celebration of life.
Equally, "Dark Flame: The Crimson Protea" captivates with its bold portrayal of strength and femininity. The dramatic contrast and rich hues create a striking visual experience. It reminds me of the powerful narrative that femininity often carries—a flame that persists and shines. Your unique approach to blending emotional resonance with technical skill artfully bridges personal storytelling with universal themes, encouraging deep reflection among viewers.
As we witness a growing appreciation for works that convey profound narratives, your artwork stands out as a cornerstone in this dialogue. The depth with which you explore these themes is not only admirable but also necessary in today's world.
My Studio Mascots
Thought I'd introduce my studio mascots and they also are my art muses too. Very loyal, they are always by my side - Dalmatians are famous as "velcro" dogs. Apart from the family, art studio, you can spot (spot!) us at dog sports. The liver girl's top speed is 44km per hour - not bad for a 20kg pup.
You can see more of them at my socials.

Bring it on 2025!
As we step into 2025, may these artworks fill your homes with energy, harmony, and inspiration. I hope they bring you new feelings, spark reflection, and create a sense of connection in your spaces. Thank you for sharing in this creative journey—here’s to a year of beauty, growth, and new beginnings
Bring it on, 2025!
