Paolo Lazzerini was born in Seravezza near Pietrasanta in Tuscany. He was a student at the Liceo Artistico in Carrara, earning a Master of Arts Diploma. This was followed by a further four years studying painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara.

Paolo Lazzerini was born in Pietrasanta, attended the Liceo Artistico and the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Carrara.
Already in these years he participated in numerous competitions, emerged and captured the attention of critics and art admirers. In the 70s and 80s he exhibited in cities such as Forte dei Marmi, Turin, Rome (at the Accademia di S. Cecilia).
His works will be permanently at the 2000 gallery in Tokyo. In the 90s we find him in various galleries in Germany with solo and group exhibitions. Today his works are featured in international art galleries and in many private collections. Despite the fact that his activity in the graphic sector has kept him busy for years, he continues to devote himself to painting, painting works that, over time and through different techniques, mark interesting passages. Since February 2016, his works have been permanently exhibited at the Blue Tree Gallery in York, United Kingdom. The great characteristic that all of Paolo Lazzerini's works have in common is the ability to communicate the great and small emotions by painting landscapes and atmospheres of his land in a surreal way, with extraordinary plays of light, shapes and colors.
In a few months, and exactly on the first of June, with the patronage of the municipality, there will be a personal exhibition of his in Pietrasanta, inside the bell tower of the Cathedral, attributed to Michelangelo.
