At the heart of this artwork stands a magnificent peacock. His plumage is a true kaleidoscope of color – a testament to the diversity that I see when I look at nature. I wanted to capture not just his physical beauty, but also his inherent pride, unwavering confidence, and peaceful serenity. The peacock’s dignified gaze seems to beckon the viewer, inviting you to step into his enchanted realm.
Surrounding the peacock is the “Dream Garden” itself, a vibrant landscape where I’ve gathered all the most exquisite blossoms and flora I could possibly conjure. To his left, a graceful tree towers with branches adorned in the most delicate pink and lilac blooms. This represents spring, renewal, and the unwavering hope for a brighter future. To the right, the painting is bathed in a gentle, yellow glow, much like the warmth of a sunrise, filling the whole scene with energy and optimism.
My artistic inspiration comes directly from Impressionism. I believe that the beauty and emotion come alive when I use bold and striking colors to evoke a sense of feeling and joy. My intention with this digital canvas is to showcase the world how I see it; filled with beauty and harmony. I want this to be more than just an image; I want it to be an open door into a world where art and nature become one.

I’m Olga Goretskaya, an artist from Ulan-Ude, Republic of Buryatia, Russia, working under the pseudonym OLya Moose. By training, I’m a musician and educator, but my love for painting has been with me since childhood. I’ve honed my skills through both in-person and online courses, exploring watercolor, oil, acrylic, graphic arts, and digital art. My experience with photography and video editing has enriched my artistic arsenal. I work in a mixed media style, blending contemporary Impressionism, Minimalism, and Abstraction, with an emphasis on vibrant colors. My inspiration comes from nature, striving to capture its beauty, joy, and harmony. My work is influenced by masters such as Picasso, Kandinsky, Renoir, Monet, and Van Gogh, as well as many Russian artists. Buryat culture and traditions, Russian decorative art, and, of course, the Siberian wilderness and Lake Baikal – all are vital sources of my inspiration.
