In an alternative Universe, the Earth was not hit by a giant meteor and as a result, the dinosaurs never went extinct. Instead, they evolved into Dino Sapient whose artistic culture runs in parallel with ours.

This is the dinosaur universe's version of The Chocolate Girl (La Belle Chocolatière or Das Schokoladenmädchen), the best known work of the 18th century Genevan artist Jean-Étienne Liotard. The Chocolate Dino-Girl is painted in acrylic, whereas the background was done with oil paint. The canvas size is 50 x 70 cm, shipped ready to hang.

Limited edition numbered art prints of this painting are available on the artist's website.

Olga (b. 1987) is a Russian-born, France-based artist working primarily in the magic realism genre.

Olga has always gravitated towards the paint brush, but had built careers in theoretical physics and artificial intelligence prior to finally committing to the arts. These previous endeavours had her spend a near decade on the East coast of the United States, a summer in Santiago de Chile, and several years in Germany, before moving to Paris for a researcher position at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in 2016.

Once in Paris, Olga took advantage of the city’s vibrant art scene and the proximity to some of the world’s best museums. Over the next few years, she used her after-work time to sketch, draw, and paint, while taking formal art classes to improve her technique.

These days Olga lives and paints in her apartment in Paris XIII, which she is fortunate to share with a tough Baltimorean cat and a very spoiled whippet.
