This picture was the result of my long trip to Scandinavia. I got a lot of impressions. Many of them were reflected in my subsequent work.
In this artwork, I used blends of white and blue. Together with the original composition and dark brush strokes, this helped create the image of a northern village and snow-capped roofs. Despite the motive of the North, the picture turned out to be cozy and even warm. This warmth reminds of the hearth and the smell of logs on a winter evening. The picture will become an interesting accent in a modern bright interior.
