Zainteresowania zawodowe w zakresie projektowania, konstrukcji i technologii laserów półprzewodnikowych realizowane w ITE a następnie jako pracownik naukowy, potem kierownik Zakładu Optoelektroniki w Instytucie Technologii Materiałów Elektronicznych (ITME).
Autorstwo i współautorstwo ponad 100 publikacji i patentów w wydawnictwach krajowych i międzynarodowych. Zakończenie działalności naukowej od 2019 roku.
Duży wpływ na wyobraźnię plastyczną miało miejsce urodzenia - Szczecin - port, szerokie akweny Odry, bliskość morza.
Dlaczego Sztuki Plastyczne?
Do lat 90-tych Szczecin był dużym, sprawnie działającym portem morskim i ośrodkiem przemysłu stoczniowego. Wychowałem się w tym Mieście. Otrzymane skądś (?) zainteresowania malarstwem i architekturą stały się trochę poboczne po rozpoczęciu nauki w Technikum, jako że było ono Mechaniczno-Energetyczne, z nowo otwartą specjalnością RTV. Jednak atmosfera miasta-portu, stoczni, bliskość i egzotyka morza utrzymywała i kierowała te zainteresowania na marynistykę i architekturę okrętów.
W Pałacu Młodzieży (potem Młodzieżowym Domu Kultury) w Szczecinie w Pracowni Plastyki można było je nadal rozwijać, a przy okazji nabawić się zamiłowania do historii i fascynacji kulturą starożytną.
Jedną z cech mikroklimatu Pomorza Zachodniego są (były) częste deszcze w lecie. Chodząc po deszczu w nocy i przyglądając się przez okulary światłom ulicznym prześwietlającym liście drzew można natychmiast zauważyć charakterystyczne struktury prążkowe inicjowane przez krople deszczu na szkłach. The interference photo-graphics:
